Welcome to the website for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Medical Writers Association! The Rocky Mountain Chapter is Chapter 17 and includes the states of Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah.
A nonprofit society, AMWA promotes excellence in biomedical communication by:
bringing together communicators and editors engaged in the medical and allied health professions throughout the world,
providing a forum for networking and interactive meetings, and
publishing the quarterly AMWA Journal.
The AMWA Rocky Mountain Chapter plans 3–4 programs around the Denver and Salt Lake City metro areas each year. Some programs involve topics that may stimulate ideas for writing, while other programs concern particular aspects of medical writing. In 2011 we will also be hosting a chapter conference in Boulder, Colorado.
